| Omg the hunter got a bird! Omg the hunter brought something else in ewwwwww! So I though bringing in dead things was over until spring! Nope I was wrong! A bird she brought in a bird! All summer she would bring in dead frogs, and once a dead snake! I posted about the snake over the summer. Now a bird she brought in a dead bird. It only seems to happen when my grandpa is gone or in bed asleep leaving it up to me and my grandma! So theres me runing around trying to get Callies attention and to back away from the bird long enough for my grandma to run in with a pair of tongs and pick up the bird and throw it in a plastic bag and then on the front porch. Ewwww can I expresses the ew enough! I brushed her teeth and washed her face but I am not wanting any kisses for a while tho. We sprayed lysol any where we think the bird touched! Callies fast but I find it really hard to believe she caught that bird. Poor birdy.

| My other dog, Bitsy who is a terrier mix, brings in dead lizards all the time. I think she has quite the reputation within the lizard community as a serial killer. She loves to lay them on my bed which has often proved to be quite a surprise when I sit before I look. I'm like you and I feel for the poor little dead victims.

| Haha, I had to laugh a little too... pretty gross though. LOL. If she actually killed a live able-to-fly bird, I'm seriously impressed! Frogs, snakes, lizards, birds... I assume some of them must get mice sometimes too, inside? As gross as that might be, it might also be slightly useful... We had a small mouse infestation last year when we were living in an older house in Ohio, before we got a dog. Might've been sorta cool to get dead mice presents, although maybe a little scary too considering the diseases mice might carry. Hm. Lauren & Nikko |
