| Mouth or lips changing Buster is 9 months old and his mouth or lips are changing colors. It is kind of hard to explain but his lips are turning pink. Like the lips are black and they are spotting pink. I am going to try to post a picture. I'm going to take him to the vet but was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to their furbaby? I just wonder if he is sick or what. He is acting normal.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | It sounds like "winter nose"...sometimes they lose the pigment during the winter months. It'll darken back up when he spends more time outdoors. Like a little sun tan. Ramsey and Reese's noses both do this.

| Well, I learn something EVERY DAY about Yorkies. Mine don't have this and I have seen larger dogs with this, but never a Yorkie. I have never heard of this, thanks so much for responding.

| One of mine is doing this too. I have heard the same thing a little sunlight daily and possibly vitamin A? Mine do not get much sun at all in the winter.

| Just checked their (3) Lips Today? What a coincidence I just checked all 3 of mines "Lips" today b/c I noticed on Abigayle's chin below her Lips used to be Black and I scraped some dry skin and it flaked off and was pink underneath. Is that what you meant? My 2 other Yorkies did'nt have this problem. Of all 3 of them she spends the most time in the Sun-Sun Bathing constantly! She is "Platinum Blonde", especially during the Summertime. Is this a Disease or Skin Rash? I've never heard of this before.
