| Hello Yorkie Lovers!!! Hey there fellow yorkie parents. I just registered on this forum for a few reasons. I was looking for other yorkie lovers so share pics or my yummy yorkies and i need a few questions answered if you can help. I have two yorkies. Simba will be 3 years old on january 27th 2009. He is the best dog ever! He is tan and silver and weighs about 6.5lbs. He is an amazing watchdog and loves going to the vet. His best friend is my grandmothers german shepard and they are soooo cute together. He just lays oh her back and they fall asleep. Problem #1: Simba is ACA registered a believe and I didnt register him when i got him. I lost the paper :-( Is there any way of getting a new one? I now have a female yorkie and I want them to mate eventually so i can have new little puppies! I didn't think it was important to register him because he was just my pet. But now I want to and not sure how to go about it. Any help is greatly apreciated. Nala is my other yorkie. She is 8 months and 8 days old today. She is just starting to get her silver in and we are very excited and sad at the same time. I just love the little black furball with floppy ears look. She is a mischevious little one and refuse to be potty trained. We are working on it though. She loves to play and loves all other dogs and people. Problem #2: Nala just went into her first heat tonight. HELP!!! I have no clue what I am doing. I have done all the reading but still feel unprepared. I have her seperate from Simba because I know she is too young to get pregnant but I am lost other than that. Any advice is GREATLY apreciated! I look forward to meeting you all and your yorkies. Thanks for all the help in advance. Rachel |

| Hi welcome to YTI'm afraid I can't help you with your questions - I don't have any experience of a yorkie coming into heat, and I'm in the UK so I'm not sure if registration works differently where you are, but there are loads of knowledgeable owners here who I'm sure can give you some advice Would love to see some pics of Simba and Nala - what great names! xxx xxx
