| Yorkie in concert!!! There's lots of excitement at our house today. The director of St. Louis' Sheldon Chorale (I'm a member) has asked to use HOW THE YORKIE RESCUED SANTA as a reading in our Christmas concert coming up on the 15th. The narrator will be Patrick Murphy of KETC Channel 9. Anyone living in or near St. Louis MUST come to this concert! In addition to Oliver's great magnum opus, the music will be beautiful. It's a lovely, warm auditorium w/ the best acoustics in town -- perfect for Oliver's debut. More at Sheldon Concert Hall Home Page (click on "concert calendar") and the price is right (no, i'm not selling tickets!) I'm still pinching myself. Oliver, of course, being a Yorkie, takes it all in stride. He knew he deserved it. He'll probably want to go onstage and take a bow. ***** CONCERT: YULETIDE CELEBRATION, The Sheldon Chorale. 8 p.m., December 15 at the Sheldon Concert Hall, 3648 Washington Blvd., St. Louis MO |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Congratulations! What does it entail? I haven't heard of How the Yorkie Rescued Santa. Is it a poem? Short story? And what will Oliver be doing while it's being read? Sound's exciting. Congratulations. Edit: Nevermind! I Googled it and found your post on Yorkietalk. Very cool. Break a leg!

| Thanks for your good wishes My vet thinks I should have Oliver onstage with the narrator, but I don't believe that's such a good idea. So he will probably be home in his tiny Yorkie bed! |

| I think he should go, also. Who knows they may be giving him the Petitzer Prize for literature.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Good for you for thinking of Oliver first. Any chance you could keep him comfortable backstage, then have him make a curtain call? That would be too cute. Start working on his "bow" now. LOL
