YorkieTalk Newbie! | Looking for a yorkie help! In nj Hi! I'm new to YorkieTalk and I'm interested in purchasing a Yorkshire Terrier puppy. I came across this website & it looked like a great place to chat & learn from yorkie owners. I would like to purchase a male for Christmas, I'm just not quite sure where to look. It seems like these poor little dogs are being exploited from puppy mills and I'm scared to being fooled by someone who claims to be a breeder. I had a labrador named Buddy for 9 yrs & he passed away last yr from cancer. I'm a dog lover & i always liked small dogs. Don't get me wrong my lab wasn't a small breed but I loved him very much & after a year from his passing his void is still felt. I'm not tryin to replace him he could never be...but I love animals and I'd like to have another dog soon. If anyone knows of a respectable breeder or perhaps someone who does raise yorkies but not from a puppy mill please contact me it would be greatly appeciated |
