| Are they playing or fighting?? Hi all, Just wondering if you could help me please. I have 2 yorkie pups male and female male is 16 weeks, female is 10 weeks. We have the boy since he was 9 weeks and the female since she was 8 weeks. The boy is a lot bigger than the girl has a lot more of a personality to him etc she is very quiet apart from the odd howl from her! He is a very playful dog happy to see you etc where as the girl could sleep away all day long. Just wondering if they would be ok in the same room together when we are out.. Sometimes Duke seems to run at Queenie and there is a size difference sometimes she could leave out a little whelp. He could jump on her too at times. Other times they could cuddle up together in bed! Basically I have always kept them seperate even at night unless we are here with them both in the same room. At feeding times he can go for her bowl and snap at her when she comes for a look. Would love for them to get on happily just worried that she is a lot smaller and frailer then him as he is very much a sturdy dog. Just wondering if Duke is actually playing with Queenie or is this too rough for play???? |

| i am not sure. but i think that supervision is really important until you feel that you are very COMFORTABLE with leaving them unsupervised. everyone's comfort level is different. i personally always rather be on the safe side and be extra cautious. i never leave my animals together unattended if i don't feel that i am CERTAIN that they would be ok. my vet has seen my bunnies and milu together and told me it's fine to leave them together unsupervised. but i still don't feel comfortable with it yet. so, i still only allowed supervised play.
