I bring this up becasue early morning this morning ohhh at about 3:30 out of no where she starts whining and pushed her toy up to my face with her nose... wanting me to throw it. So I did... she got it... brought it back and so it begun... 2.5 hours until i had to hide her toy under my pillow... Any one else's pup LOVE to play fetch?

| Well, he's not a pup any longer, but Squirt loved to play fetch continuously until he was about 10 years old. Gus has no interest, other than to watch me throw the toy, and watch me fetch it. I wish he'd play, because I could use it to tire him out.

| Same with my Cocker Spaniel. He used to play fetch for hours, and now he runs to get the toy, but I can see he is in pain (he's 15). I pet sit for a lab that is obsessed over the ball. She loves fetch. The Yorkie (who I might adopt) sometimes plays fetch, but I wish he would all the time. |

| Lexi, too, loves fetch! I can't sit to read the mail, because she's coming up with a toy for me to 1) try to get away from her, and 2) throw for her to get it! |

| Bean won't play with anything anymore except to fetch. Even her "food" toys like kong. Now she follows us from room to room with a toy in her mouth and starts barking if we don't throw it. She's beginning to drive us bonkers!! |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I was really excited because my yorkie finally learned how to play fetch maybe six weeks ago. Before, he would chase the toy down, and then wait for you to chase him while he carried the toy. Unfortunately he seems to have unlearned it a bit. He seems to think the toy is "fetched" if he's brought it within twenty feet of me. Sigh. My yorkie's dumb. |

| i love playing with my daisy but this is getting ridiculous.... i am trying to be patient with her and understand that she needs to play because she's a puppy. ALL DAY LONG, ALL NIGHT LONG, when she isn't eating or going to the bathroom, she brings this ball to my feet. if i do not pick it up and throw it within 10 seconds she CRIES like she is being tortured and continues until i throw the ball. if i hide the ball it is 3 hours of crying and being a brat... not wanting to be picked up and cuddled, no eating, no going outside... the ball has to be withing her vision for her to function correctly... yes even outside... she brings it outside with her...does her business, and wants to play... which i do... i can't say no... HELP!

YT Addict | Lexi loves to fetch too, but we only play during our once a day "training sessions". Otherwise the big dogs get involved, and they destroy even the toughest of toys in 5 minutes. Do you ever hide the toys for Daisy? That might give you a breather! , I'll distract lexi then throw the toy in the opposite direction, then I'll hold up my hands and go, "where is it?!" she's off like a bat out of hell and won't stop until she finds it. |
