| Invisible Flies Maybe? My Chewie, is quite a character. Out of no where he'll just start biting the air and barking, sometimes he even jumps at whatever he is seeing. Does anyone else's furbabies do this? |

| I think you should mention this to your vet. My daughter's Cavalier does that and he is having small seizures.

I would suggest getting a journal. Write down any odd behaviors, the date and time, if he ate something or didn't, etc.... He may need to be put on meds. and lactulose to help control the HE symptoms. I hope you join that Yahoo group, they have sooooooooo much more experience and knowledge and they will help and guide you to do the very best for him.... | |

| I honestly had thought he was just biting at stray hair from his beard that would get in his line of vision. I didn't even think it could have anything to do with his shunt. I'm starting to get angry at his former owners for not having it checked out. Here this poor little guy just gets laughed at for being "retarded" (thats how old owner referrred to him) and it could actually be an underlying problem from his disease. |
