| Ella got stung a few weeks ago (she was probably between 3.5 and 4 pounds), and I was on the phone immediately with my vet. She said to get the stinger out and watch her for any strange behavior (and if there was any, to get her to the emergency vet ASAP). She said that dogs rarely have allergic reactions to bee stings, but if there was a reaction, it wouldn't take too long to present itself. I never think it's a bad idea to go to the vet to make sure everything is ok, but don't panic (which is exactly what I did), the pain of the sting will probably the worst part of the whole thing for your baby.
