| Will this effect her health? Hi there guys! Keelys spay is on the 21st, so since we will be in the aerea of grandfalls, i will be picking up a new kind of food (Wellness) We are curently on eagle pack holisstic select. But I was wondering, keely will be 7 months old () On the 24th and she is on the larger side, has all of her adult teeth, so could i feed her this food--->Super5Mix Small Breed - Adult Health It says to start feeding this at 9 months, but would it be okay to start feeding it now? If i pick up a bag of puppy food, it will not be gone by the age of 9 months, even with the smallest bag (keely isnt a big eater) And i reeeaaally want to get the above food as soon as possible. So would it be okay? Like ive said before, im clueless when it comes to this kinda thing.. BTW- Keely is a whopping 8 lbs at the age of 6 months (almost 7) but breeder said she wont get any bigger now.. I love my hogous yorkie Last edited by Keely_momma; 11-16-2008 at 11:33 AM. |

| I dont have access to it. The food we have is the bag the breeder gave us when we picked her up (She gave us 2 bags and 8 cans of it) And it isnt sold in our area. And I like welllness better. In my opinion its waay better then eagle pack hollistic select. |

| Don't think harmful I don't think that it would be harmful, I would just make sure to mix alittle of the Wellness with the eagle pack. The slower you introduce it to her system the better it will be not to upset her tummy. I think the Puppy food just has more calories and vitamins. Good Luck

| I recently started feeding Gus the Wellness for small breeds. First food that he eats readily. Do you have enough of your current food, that you can mix the two for a couple of months. You could start with more current than Wellness, and work toward all Wellness. Interesting that you used the word hogus. My wife and niece have been saying that Gus is fat. I think he is cobby. A relative, from a non-English speaking country, visited the other day. She used a word in her native language that translated to pig, but maybe it could also mean hog. She is a gentle woman of 88, meaning no offense, and so Gus and I took it as a compliment.
