| Thanks to all of you who gave advice on Chewie I just wanted to thank everyone for such good advice when it comes to my newly adopted Chewie. I am finding it hard to believe but the lady I got him from just gave him away to me. And I don't see any problem at all with him. Other than he won't eat but I feel thats do to the wrong diet. But I couldn't ask for a more lovable baby. His old mom had said he wouldn't use her doggie door, made messes in her house, terrorized her silkies, etc. The only thing here he is terrorizing is my son's guinea pigs....LOL Other than that he's curled up on my lap waiting for lots of love. I am just glad I have this little boy now, even though after we got home yesterday he ran off into the street, (my fault) and almost got hit by a truck....Talk about me having heart failure, but after the truck went around him he came running back home like there as no tomorrow...Don't think he'll try to introduce himself to my neighbors again...LOL Thanks again... Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Congratulations on your new little guy. I am glad you were able to give him a good home. Sometimes it is better for some dogs to be the "one and only" in a family which may be why he was terrorizing the silkies. I am learning this the hard way as I am having a similar problem between my "alpha" female and the other female I have. Lexie is fine with my two boys, but has suddenly decided she does not want another female in the house. We are looking for a new home for her; until then we are keeping them separated. Don't know how easy it was for Chewie's other mom to give him up, but it breaks my heart to have to rehome Lexie. I just keep telling myself that she is not happy the way things are now and neither is my other smaller female that she is attacking. But it is very difficult regardless. Good luck with Chewie (love that name!) and please keep us updated on his progress in his new home with you.

| Chewie's real name is Chewbacca, and he looks every bit like a Chewbacca...LOL He is my first yorkie and has totally captured my heart. Why didn't someone tell me a long time ago how sweet this little guys are...I've always had big dogs, mainly Staffordshire Terriers and Aussies..I can officially say I want more yorkies if they are all as sweet as he....hehehe |
