| Anything besides Rescue Remedy to calm dogs? My nephew and his wife are moving back here from Florida in December. They have a beagle/daschound mix dog that they rescued and will be bringing him, but he is very nervous in the car. Do you know of anything that would work to calm him? They tried the rescue remedy, but that didn't work, so he asked me if there's anything else. He and I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

| I don't know what a rescue remedy is, but have they tried putting him in a carrier with a blanket over it. Breyli is usually really good in cars but in the summer when I was driving home every other weekend (a 2.5+ drive) sometimes I would do this and she would fall right to sleep. |

Prozac can and does work on some dogs. Reswcue remedy is not sciencifically tested and or studied and not worth the time nor money... if it works it usually cause the human is calmer as we think we have helped the dog. JL

| Tell them to try the Rescue Remedy one more time. Sometimes it takes twice before working for some reason
