| Baby Bentley comes home today! Hi everyone! I have been waiting 3 months for this moment...I pick up my new baby Bentley today! I am driving 2 1/2hrs to pick him up and 2 1/2hrs back and I couldn't be happier. I can't even sleep right now because I'm so ecstatic! I have his play pen all set up with his bed, toys, blanket and water/food bowl. Does anyone have any advice for this first time yorkie/dog owner?? I never even grew up with animals so this will be a challenge. I just want everything to be perfect for him . Thank you all for your help/advice and I will keep you updated and load lots of pictures !

| Congratulations! Can't wait to see pictures. I would say the most challenging thing is the potty training, read all you can about how to, be patient, be persisitent, within a few months you will have a potty trained lil furbutt.

| He's home!!! :) Thank you everyone for your responses! He is so adorable! He pooped on me twice in the car on the way home...I guess he was nervous. He just kept shaking. He is only 1.12 lbs right now...so he is small. He was expected to get to 5 lbs full grown, but now the breeder is not so sure. He wouldn't eat but finally, at home after 3 naps, he ate out of my hand. He is sleeping again right now. I can already tell that potty training will be hard because he has peed twice on the carpet, and not at all on the pee pad . Oh well, I love him anyway !
