| Camping with your babies I was just curious if anyone has taken their babies with them when they go camping. We will be sleeping in a tent. It will only be a Friday - Sunday thing so I am not too worried about it. I was going to get my cousin to watch them but thought they would have a good time with us enjoying the refreshing air. We usually do a little hike or just sit by the camp fire. What do you think? P.S. - They are both up to date on all of their shots.

| my went camping several times, he even went on a three day trail ride, I never had a problem Ichabob was such a laid back yorkie things never brother him, as long as he was with either my husband or myself. Ichabob was I think around a 9mos old when we started camping and he camp with us up to his death at 7yrs old. he even did Mardi Gras. I have not taken Wicket and Teddy because I have grown older and the ground has gotton a lot harder. but it was a lot of fun. |

| Cutie loves to camp she loves exploring everything around her. I have pics of her on this fallen tree just trying to find something to hunt!...the things i worry about are 1. poison ivy spreading from her to me 2. any animal snatching her but after that there is nothing else that can get in the way of you guys having a great time together in the woods.

| We are motor home campers when we go, but the girls love the walks and all the different people and pets they meet. They even love riding on the golf cart, or just laying around the camp watching every thing that is going on. Boy do they love the attention the little children pay them!!!

| We took Mika camping in August, she was just 5 months old. We had a fab time! At night she slept in her collapsible crate with her very own sleeping bag (inside the tent of course!) When not walking around we attached a plastic coated wire runner lead to a metal ground screw so she had a bit of freedom without the danger! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...mikaanball.jpg

| I think it is a great idea! I take my two girls all the time in the summer...we have a trailer but a tent is no big deal. I do however take 2 of my portable fold up playpens...and when they are not in that I keep them on a leash....just in case! Make sure they are on Frontline or what ever you use so they don't pick up fleas or ticks...I am not sure if ticks are a problem in your area or even a problem this time of year but its best to be safe! Have fun!

| I took Bobby on his 1st camping trip last month for the weekend. We have a trailer, but I must say he LOVED it! We took him hiking and on long walks. Everytime we came back he would go to sleep and then wake up and wine to go back outside. My husband is into dirtbike/quad riding and the season for that just started in California. We plan on taking Bobby with us several times this year. Have a great time on your trip! |

| I love taking Daizy camping...We went several times over the summer and had a great time!!!! You might wanna bring a playpen or something like that to keep your baby in...Daizy liked to wander a bit...and you won't have to keep them tied up. At night she of course slept in bed with me!!!! We had a blast...even took our raft out on the lake and Daizy went with me...lol We had her swimming some too! Have fun!!!!
