My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Many Vets recommend Hills because they get a kick back for it. Is your baby on a medicated prescription diet or just the plain food? If it just regular food...I would switch. Just look for no by products and NO fillers. A good guide is "normally" anything you can buy at the grocery store or a Walmart type store is not a good food. Mine love what they are on and do very well on it. Good luck! |

| Hills is a really low quality food with tons of fillers. the vets tell you to get it so they can make commission on it. i would find a better quality food like orijen, natural balance, or natures variety, and Wellness brands. Good luck.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | These are all really good brands that've been recommended . And I would give her something to eat just before you go to bed, to avoid the upset tummy in the morning.

| I wouldn't stress too much about her not eating in the morning....my Daizy is the same way...some days she won't eat until around 1:00 in the afternoon....and she's completely healthy! I would def. change her food tho! The suggestions you got were good ones...I would go to a pet store or Farm supply place..they carry high quality wet/dry foods for dogs. Like someone else already said...walmart and grocery stores carry the lowest quality dog food that can be bought. I researched the brands and out of six (6)stars....most food sold in Walmart and Grocery stores scored one (1) on the nutritional value scale!!! Good luck
