| Question of the Day I am curious to how many Yorkies and/or other dogs everyone has here~? Someone today mentioned to me about me getting another Yorkie for Maxwell to play and how it would be good for both him and I. Is this true~? Would he be jealous of another pooch around~? Would he likely quit chewing on objects he's not suppose to~? Earlier in the year, we attended an event where there were dogs for sale. When I was petting it, Maxwell got so darn jealous, it surprised me. |

| I only have Sapphire. No other pets at all. She's ok with others, except my uncle's dogs. I guess when she saw me pet them she got jealous and never forgot about it...

| I have only one yorkie, my sweet little middle-aged girl Olivia, (but I KNOW there is a second one out there somewhere just waiting for me!) I have my daughter's small dog here often and Olivia is much livlier and seems happier when Ziggy is here to keep her company. |

| I have 2 dogs. I got my 2nd when my first was 2 yrs old. I think they like each other's company when I'm not home. And when I am home they play together, so I think my Chewy is now happier that we have Chloe? At first Chewy hated Chloe, but after a few days they got used to each other. I think they love each other and are happy to be together.

| You could end up with another chewer unless you get an older Yorkie with a good "record". I've got two Yorkies. Squirt doesn't chew, but Gus chews continuously.

| I have 3, but only 2 yorkies. Our third is a Golden Retriever. I do think my Abby is much happier having company. I don't think Daisy could care less. Luckily not a chewer in the bunch. *knock wood* I suppose it would depend on the dog. Daisy was an only dog for the first 2 yrs of her life, so I think she got used to that. Although I do feel better when I leave knowing they have company.

YT 1000 Club Member | I have to laugh at this because I have 4 Yorkies and a Pom. Now Willow the Pom barks if the wind blows the wrong way. She is the oldest in the house. Then Maggie who doesn't bark unless a stranger comes to the door. Dante is the same as Maggie. But Leo oh lord. It seems like Willow and Leo have a contest daily to see who barks the most. Now they are trying to get Friday started. But for now she only barks when all 5 of them bark.

| I was worried about this as well. Bentley was about 6 months old when we got Houston. Houston was 2 1/2 months and it worked out very well. They want to be where the other one is and both want petted. I wouldn't say they get "jelous" they have grown together. I want another but the hubby says no... i have a feeling i will get my way lol. |

| It was only a thought.... ...but I don't know if I could handle another fur-baby as you all call them Maxwell is so quite and a lot of times I have to check on him to see what he's up to. The only noise he makes is when the mail lady comes around or the people walking, next door neighbors coming home, or something that is nearby to get his attention. He's a good doggie despite his moments lately of chewing up stuff. Tonight he was so good |

| I have 4 yorkies. 3 males and 1 female. They are all spoiled so they do tend to get jealous of each other at times for our attention. They all get along good but these are mom dad 2 kids They will fight over their bully sticks though

| I have to say it's the best thing I've done. I have a male yorkie 16mo. and a female 7mo. I got the female when Coco was about 8mo. They are inseparable They are just best buds . We try to always give them equal attention. Pebbles is much more aggressive than Coco. He just gives her what she wants. If he is chewing on a bone she will just come over and take it and he does nothing, just goes and gets something else. He is wonderful. They run around and play. They sleep all inter-twined. They are both so great together. Even eat out of the same bowl.. never growl or anything. COCO PEBBLES |
