| Citronella Anti-Barking collars Hi - Joey won't stop barking. For awhile when I sang to him it would help, but now he is sick of my singing (go figure), and barks at us constantly. Has anyone had good luck with the citronella anti-barking collars? Please tell me YES! |

| I would LOVE to hear feedback on this too. I am also considering a citronella anti-bark collar. I'm just not sure if they work! My trainer suggested it, but I would like to learn more information about it too.

Did you get the one for $49.99 or the one for $89.95? Does your dog have to have it on to work or does it just not bark now? What does it actually do to the dog? Sorry about all the questions!

| I use citronella collars on my dogs. It's works for them. I mainly use it when we travel and I have to leave them in the hotel by themselves. It reminds them not to bark while I'm not there. Dog as to be over 5-6lbs to be able to carry one of these collar on its neck. |

| I have never heard of the citronella anti-barking collars before?? Schatzie is not a bad barker at all but our Schnauzer Annabelle is awful, Maybe if good results come from this I might try it for her? I used to use a water bottle to spray Annabelle when she barked obsessively but she'd just move to the other room and barked. I got real tired of chasing her around with a spray bottle. That, and I looked real dumb doing so. Also, even in public Id have to carry my "spray bottle" around with me and it was a real nuisance. This citronella collar might be something to research on and am curious to read other member's comments/suggestions about it.

| I got the more expensive one. It isn't that exact same one but very similar. Mine has this thing that you either mount some where or set some where and it has 2 things that the dogs can wear on thier collars (I dont use these). ANyway, the thing I have mounted on my wall lets out an ultrasonic noise that bothers the dogs everytime they bark. You can set it on how many barks or how long after barking it goes off. IT WORKS. Recon and Memphis will bark non stop if I didnt' get the thing but now, they bark a few short little barks and they are done. I haven't even had the thing turned on for a week or so now. But after recieving not one but 2 tickets for $176 for disturbing the peace, I thought I might as well get something. |

| I'm not at all familiar with this product but my yorkies only bark at something, like someone coming up the door and only for a short time. Lacey's bark is so cute I hate to scold her. But, believe it or not, I broke the barking all the time habit by whispering to both dogs, right in their own ears whenever they barked. Usually I pull them up on my lap and whisper, no barking, then give a treat when they go a minute or less without barking. So far, it has worked, with a few exceptions. Now, if they start, and if one does it they both will, I bend down to them, tap them on their nose, and whisper no barking and they stop. I will say, too, I live on one acre of land on a short street, so we have a pretty quiet neighborhood, only 5 houses, so if I lived in a busy area, I might have much more of a challenge. |
