| I'm a little shocked. So today i took Pasquale to the vet's. We're sitting in the lobby area waiting to be called...and in walks another Yorkie. Totally adorable! 3 yrs old. The yorkie is with his human mom and her 4 yr old daughter. So the daughter starts talking to me and Pasquale...telling us all about her doggie. She asked if Pasquale used a pee pad. I said yes. She then says that her dog cant figure out how to go pee pee on his pad. Which kind of made me giggle..cause god knows i've been there! Anyways, the mom chimes in and says...."i just dont have time for him and neither does your father. Ok this kinda threw me back a bit. Then her dog was called into the exam room and the mom LEAVES the 4 yr old ALONE in the waiting area. I'm like WHAT?!! Apparently this woman doesnt have time for anyone. This is a busy place. ANYONE could have came in and taken this little girl. I kinda gave the receptionist a scared look after our names were called to go into the exam room...and the receptionist then sat next to her to watch her. But i was totally shocked by this mom...i still am!!

| not to mention what kind of message it sends to a little girl that her mother would say and do that to her. i don't care how busy or annoyed the mother is there is NOTHING a 4yr old can do that justifies leaving her alone like that. i'm glad she had you and pasquale there.

| I see this happen more often that I want to admit. But I have a big mouth and actually open it to the parents...it's never a pretty sight. I can't understand people. You hear it everyday on the news about kids getting taken, and what happens to them. People like that should get a huge fine and go through mega classes, and really be taught a lesson to that leaving their child a lone will be more of an inconvenience due to consequences. Sick. I could rant more. But it won't get to the mother who is the on who really needs to hear it... |

| That is HORRIBLE! Before we got Fiona, I was watching my boyfriend play softball, and this family had a little yorkie puppy, cute, but TINY, and they had her on a chain leash (one you would probably use for like a pitt, or a rottie, doberman, NOT A FRIGGIN YORKIE) and the one daughter was literally just dragging this poor baby everywhere, it that wasn't enough to watch, then, the puppy found a little hole in the fence for the field, crawled through it, and the owner was going to try to get her out the same way she went in~ I am a very quiet person, but when it comes to animals, i will go off...i looked at her, and i said " YOU BETTER NOT LET THAT PUPPY COME BACK THROUGH THAT HOLE, WALK AROUND AND GET HER! " they were pretty shocked I said something....I felt so bad for this puppy....and to top it off, when I got fiona, and brought her to a game they were there (without their puppy, thank god) and the little girl wanted to touch Fiona, I said NO WAY! People are horrible, really makes you wonder!

| The problem with the world now is everyone is toooooo busy, I do it myself but getting older I have slowed down some but it really amazes me what some parents do these days, since Kyleigh has been born, I pay more attention than I use to, and I am around more children than I use to be. I wouldn't leave my kids alone for a second when they were little or older, I just don't get it, I guess I am crazy but to me children and my furbabies are the most precious thing to me and I want to make sure they are always that way and no one hurts them.

| Did you tell the woman that you have time for him and offer to take him off her hands? Maybe you could ask the receptionist to contact the woman and give her your number. Just have the receptionist say if you ever find youself needing to place him somewhere this person is interested in him. Something like that...

| Wow, I truly hope that she never has to experience her daughter not being where she left her. Children can walk off VERY quickly. |

| Yes, I have a major problem of Anyone leaving A young child alone in a public place... What was she thinking? obviously not what is in the best interst of of her 4 your old little girl. Too me it imo, she is not able to manage her 4 yr old and Yorkie at the same tme, therfore one of them gets neglected. She may have assumed that the ladies in the front office were watching the child? Never assume anything when it comes to a very young child. Shame on that parent It's hard for me to even call her a Parent , by her behavior she certainly does not seem like A good one.
