| MISSING Yorkie HANOVER, Md. – A Maryland woman says she made a trip to the mall, and when she came back to her car just minutes later, her precious dog had been stolen. It happened in the parking lot of the Arundel Mills Mall on Monday night. Lisa Anderson told FOX 5 she takes her Yorkie everywhere, including to the mall. But this time, that was a big mistake. "He is a family member," Anderson explained. "I live here alone—my dog is my family." Anderson says she had just come back from a long trip to Cincinnati with her dog, Kobe, when she made a quick stop at the mall. "Pets are not allowed in the mall, so I left him in the car," said Anderson. Just a few minutes later when Anderson came back to her car, she says Kobe was gone. "I walked up to my car with my bags in my hand, tapped on the window and he didn't pop up," she said. "So I went to the back window of the car, opened the door to see if he was back here ,and I didn't see him. I came to the back and I lifted up the hatch to see if he was in his cage, he wasn't in his cage either." Lisa says she also left her purse, her computer, and her cell phone in the car, but the bandit was only interested in her most prized possession. "That's my little road dog," Anderson explained. "He has been to parties, step shows-- everybody knows this dog, everybody who knows me knows him." Police say unfortunately in her rush to get inside the mall, Anderson accidentally left the door unlocked. They also say this appears to be an isolated incident, but they are investigating and stepping up patrols in the area. "I feel incomplete without him-- I feel like something is missing," said Anderson. There were security cameras in the parking lot that may have caught the suspect snatching the dog on tape, but mall management says they can't discuss things related to security. Anderson is offering a reward for Kobe's safe return. She says she wants the person who took him to just drop him off at a shelter. "I've been just crying-- I couldn't believe it," said Anderson. "Everybody knows I love my dog." Relatives have offered to buy Anderson a new dog, but she says she doesn't want another dog. She just wants Kobe back. |

| Ahhh that's sad. The reward might generate a return, he was probably stolen so they could sell him for the money anyhow. Except they didn't take her purse..hmmm

| That poor woman and poor dog. I hope who ever took him takes good care of him. Of course I do hope he is found and returned to the original owner first. You just can't help but worry if these dog's that are stolen are cared for. Very sad. |

| Poor woman, I hope she finds her dog and takes this as a lesson learned. I would never leave my girls alone in the car.

| This is so sad. I worry about this when I'm forced to leave Mia in the car when i have to go into certain places. I will sometimes put her in her carrier so she isn't viewable. I really hope she gets him back soon. This is just horrible.

| It is a horrible thing but leaving your dog in the car is a horrible thing in my opinion too. Sense they didnt take anything else it makes me wonder if they think they were saving the dog from being left in the car. I hope she gets the dog back but I also hope that this makes people see you shouldnt leave your dog in the car even for as little as a minute its not safe especially arundle mills mall!

| I hope she finds her dog. The only way I leave Snickers in the car is if he body gaurd is with him (nothing like a 90 lb drooling boxer to make you think twice). Did she lock the door?
