Hair growth Hi, I'm new here. I have a question, I have a 8 month old Yorkie. The pic in my icon is Carly at approx 9-10wks old. Her hair has gotten some longer, but not long like normal Yorkies. Has anyone had a puppy where the hair takes this long to grow?

I woudn't worry at all about the length of the hair at this point. Puppies loose their puppy coat around this age and the adult coat starts coming in. It takes time for length. You have lot's of waiting to do. Hang in there it will happen.

You know I've never had a dog where their hair changes like this. It's really weird to me, I keep looking at her and sayin.. sorry Carly, I guess you're just different. So when is their hair actually finialized with the color changes and hair growing?

agree I totally agree with the second post about losing puppy hair. You just need to give the coat sometime.
