| I have a quick question - please advice hello, milu was spayed 12 days ago, and she had one of her dew claw redone at the same time. AND... there is a Halloween party for yorkies in my area today. i am not sure if it's ok to take her to something like that yet? i really want to take her, and have her costume(s) ready. hehe but i am afraid that she might get hurt? since she still has stitches on her leg and on her belly.... does anyone know how long i am supposed to wait before taking her to something like that after a spay/dewclaw surgery? (there will be a lot of dogs there, like at the very least 25 yorkies-since there will be 25 yorkie owners attending, and everyone is allowed to bring up to 3 yorkies) please advice!!! thank you so much!!!

| Well when I had Daizy spayed the vet told me to limit her activity while she had her stitches in. Uhm depending on what she will be doing you will probably have to make that call... Will she be running around playing with other dogs? How has she done since her surgery? When are her stitches going to be taken out? We had another yorkie here in our home when Daizy had her surgery...and I'm pretty sure that by the second week she was back frolicking and playing with her cousin Sophie... we just kept a very close eye on her and didn't let her play get too rough. Those are things you will probably need to consider....and did you call your Vet and ask them? He/She might be in a better position to answer that question considering they did the surgery...ya know? Hope that helps a little.
