| Even when you think you're doing everything right... Long story short... My next door neighbors invited me over for a cookout tonight. So I got the girls ready and took them with me. Abby and Daisy both had on sweaters, their harnesses and I had a leash on them. I was sitting on a bench, holding the leashes, I felt tugging...everything is alright...right? WRONG! One of the guests walks up to me holding Daisy! I look down and see her sweater and harness on the ground. Abby was the only one tugging! I almost croaked! She found Daisy by the food..of course. This is the same harness that I use to walk her and she has never, ever slipped out of it!! Maybe it was the sweater...heck I don't know. What I do know is, it made me sick to my stomach to think about what could have happened Peanut was killed not even a quarter of a block from where I was sitting. Thank God Daisy isn't a bolter like she used to be. We came home right after that.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | I am so glad everything turned out to be ok. It had to be scary!! Just think of it as a yorkie angel letting you know before something terrible had happened! I hope you are able to find a harness that you will feel secure about using for your baby. I've seen harness vests with buckles that I really like & interested in.

| Abby and Daisy have several different harnesses and I've never had this problem with any of them before, that's why I was so shocked. Now that I think about it, I think sitting there, she was pulling back behind me and somehow wiggled out...when we're walking, there's probably more tension on the harness from her walking in front of me. I'm glad it turned out OK too. Thank You We definetly need the yorkie angels on our side.

| Thank God Daisy was OK!! I know exactly how you felt! We were "sitting" Shira not long ago. She was wearing a step-in harness and I have no idea how it happened, but I was talking to a neighbor and suddenly the retractible leash flew up to the holder in my hand and all that was there was the harness!! I almost fainted!! There she stood in the yard wearing nothing but a "smile"! I used my very best, high-pitched, play voice and was able to just walk over to her and pick her up! Geeezzzzzzz .... my life passed before my eyes! I am so happy that little Daisy hadn't gotten into a dangerous situation! Sometimes, no matter how secure we feel, they can get into trouble.

| I am so glad Daisy is okay, they can get away so fast. Not to make light of the situation, but I thought I would tell you something to make you laugh. Tonight when the babies went outside, I had Max (GSD) in the carport fence area and let the yorkies out to run in the yard since its so cool here, well after rounding up all of them I couldn't find Lexie, granted my fence area is huge and the fence is a 5 ft, so I didn't think she jumped it, but I was worried Max may have dug somewhere and she got out. Now picture this I am running around yelling Lexie, Max is going nuts jumping up and down trying to get into the big fence area, the yorkies are in the house barking their little heads off, its getting dark and I am looking everywhere, Lexie likes to play a game with you, she will let you get almost pickup distance then darts off, so I didn't see her anywhere, I went in to turn the flood lights on and then I seen it, her head sticking out of a hole big Max had dug, she couldn't get out. When he did it I don't know, but it had to be 2 ft deep. I didn't know where to kill her or hug her. They can give you a heart attack faster than anything. Glad Daisy was a good girl and stayed where you could get her.

| Thank You ladies Oh Kim, that is too funny! I can't just see it now...Mama, I'm over here in the hole! But it does give you a sick feeling in your stomach, doesn't it? I'm glad she went for the food too, Mary Jane! If she weren't such a piggy, no telling where she would have went. Lisa! Girlfriend, I thought you had foresaken us No I still haven't weighed Abigail. She just looks so darn tiny! And we can see her little tail now too. It stands straight up! BettyAnn, it sounds like Shira did the same thing Daisy did! It's so scarey. I know what voice you're talking about I'll be even more paranoid now.. I guess I should just be thanking my lucky stars that Miss Daisy is OK

| Tammy I just thought of something! Is there a low jack for doggies? I saw a commercial that showed a lady who lost her son and she ran to her bag and tracked him down. That would be great if when they microchipped them, it had navigation, I think thats the right word! I would buy it Im going to refer to Daisy as Miss Piggy |

| Tammy, do you know how much those trackers are for the doggies on the collars? That would be phenomenal.....We thought about something like that would be nice when Zoey got lost, but I didnt realize that they made them. I just saw the commercial Indiana Girl saw where the mom thinks the child is missing in the park....she grabs her locater out of her purse and wola, the child is found instantly.

Senior Yorkie Talker | OMG! Thank heavens she didn't wonder far. I can imagine how scary that would be. We use the harness that the legs slip into and buckles on the back center. I haven't had trouble with that kind. I need to do the micro chip thing. But will wait and get both kids done at once maybe? This tracker thing sounds pretty darn handy.

| Yes I was.....if you notice, there is a white generic looking van pulling awayor going by just as she is noticing the child is missing. I have only seen the commercial once, but I gasped thinking the child got kidnapped and thrown in the van. I was thinking , God forbid, if that ever was the case, it would be immeasurable in finding the child in that case also. What an advancement in technology for the safety of kids and doggies!!
