| In search of a comfy carrier for Esme... I originally bought Esme a petote from glamourdog.com. I paid $150 for it and I thought it was great! Unfortunately, Esme HATES it. So, now I am in search of a carrier for her. I want something big, roomy, and hopefully much cheaper than the first carrier. I want her to be able to see out and get lots of air. Esme weighs about 7lbs. Do any of you have a great carrier you can reccomend??? Please post pictures if possible.

| http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...=1124293850989 My mom bought this one to fly my brother's puppy out to him in arizona (it was a blue heeler and almost to big for it as a puppy (probably 10-15lbs). Mom gave it to us thinkin logan can use it always which I would imagine he can. Logan is 6 lbs. Anytime we get ready to go somewhere he jumps in it. We have a towell in the bottom and a toy in there. If we actually close him in he'll go right to sleep. If we leave the top open even a little bit he'll try to come out, but he's getting better about this.

| Are those Sherpa bags any good? Or are they just over priced bags for dogs? I've been thinking of getting Sango a bag/carrier also

| Gus loves his carrier. It has flaps that you can have up or down. Pleanty of ventalation. I put a soft baby blanket on the bottom and he just loves it. Gus stood so tiny that he can stand in it and move around with ease. I use it as a car seat as well. I love it. When looking for a carrier I was looking on line and seen alot of cute carriers, but wasnt willing on spending that much. I was going to buy a really cute one that I found but my husband told me,,,,,, Your not going to put Gus in that flowery bag. He needs a manly bag,,,,,, LOL I just laughed at him and asked him are you going to be carrying him around,,, he said "NO" then I said in a sort of nice way,,,,, THEN SHUT IT! LOL Then I found this one at Pet Smart for only $45 and both agreed it was a good one for Gus.

| Carrier for Yorkie I have a nice carrier that zips up that I bought at PetSmart which is airline approved. It has mesh ends so the dog gets air and can see out. I think I paid about $39 for it. I only use that if I'm staying overnight and need to crate my dog. My Yorkie likes to go flea market shopping and to other shops that don't sell food and I carry her on the front of me in a carrier much like a baby carrier. Her hind legs hang down, her front legs hang over the top of the carrier and her upper chest and head are free. There is a slot for her tail so she isn't sitting on it. She faces forward and hangs there just like a baby and loves it. It cost me about $15. If interested I can give you the phone and e-mail of the person who sells these carriers. You wouldn't want to put more than a 6 lb. dog in it as it would get heavy on your shoulders. |
