| Good breeder suggestions.... I am looking for a small female yorkie and driving myself crazy with finding the perfect breeder. I would like to avoid kennels and pet stores. I am in nyc area so jersey or ny is perfect. If anyone knows expecting puppies from reputable breeder please recommend. Thanks!! Last edited by Jaimeb; 10-15-2008 at 08:23 PM. |

| Welcome to YT!! We are happy to have you here! We have several great breeders right here on YT!! I would suggest that you check out our Classified section. Yorkie Classifieds - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community Natalie (nlappegard) has several little girls that are ready to go. My Candy came from her and she is super healthy. She is pp pad trained and very socialized. We have many great breeders here that i am sure would be willing to help you out! Good luck finding your perfect little girl! |

| breeder Thank you for your suggestion. I reviewed her web site and the females were purchased but came accross another breeder Cyndy Mitchell in Minnesota. Have you ever heard of her or has anyone purchased from her before? Thanks, jaime |

| The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America has a breeder referral service. Here is the website - Yorkshire Terrier Club of America About The Club There are many good, reputable breeders in NY and neighboring states. I got my two boys from show breeders in Connecticut and they are both beautiful and healthy. Good luck!

| Could you please send me PM as well? If I can convince my husband, I would love to bring home another furbaby (a male this time though so that Cassiopia could have a brother).

| quick... I feel like it is a rush to the finish for the breeders in this area. They're sold before they are born! But I would appreciate the name of the breeder in conn. you are talking about. Thanks. |

| Thank you but I have! But most of those breeders have a waiting list and I am not a VIP member But I am still trying. Never thought it would be so hard to find a puppy! |

| I've been bugging him about it everyday since May/June...so still working on it. Anyway, Cassi is sure getting cuter and cuter everyday. I think she's also wearing him down with all her cuteness.

| To Jaimeb I imagine everything in NYC involves a waiting list!! And Yorkies are so popular. Have you considered getting an adult from the breeder, they occasionally have either retired showdogs or dogs they no longer breed and need to make room for the new puppies they are keeping to show. My Yorkie is a retired showdog the breeder did not have any puppies at the time, I was not looking for an adult, but it turned out to be even better than a puppy. I am now getting a puppy from her in a few weeks. |
