Ha ha. I'm just hoping my "well-trained" Yorkie is able to take his skills on the road in front of a pack of fun Yorkies! It will be fun, I guarantee that.

Oh that sounds like so much fun. Have to make it next year. New fur baby and to young to travel anywhere yet. I hope everyone has a wonderful time.

Can someone tell me if june 1st is the deadline to registered to go? And if so why is that since the event is not until july 16? Thank you.

We may be able to extend it a couple of days but I'm still trying to confirm that with the event planning staff at the hotel. We have to have a final count so early as we are having to confirm food needs for the catered dinner on Saturday night.

Im excited about the agility event, I am thinking about putting Izzy in training so he can burn off his extra energy! LOL

On another note, does anyone know if they are allowing us to take the dogs on the Metro Train or Metro Bus? Just wondering because I live in D.C. and would love to use mass transit rather than drive. The traffic can be a mess at times!

ok i just need as long as i can to get my money in for my registration fee....but June 1st was right around the corner and I still had to ship out my GE gifts. hehe...hopefully I can meet the deadline...

everything seems to be going wrong from me...car keep breaking down...and is now about to cost me $400 to fix. Which I had to borrow from my mom.

I'm so sad I can't come, but I just joined and found out about this wonderful event. I gave it a bit of thought, hoping I could work it out, but I don't think I can pull it off this year. I just turned in my work schedule which covers this time period (they make us schedule so far in advance that it is silly...) and I just can't make it work.

But, if it is an annual event, I'll be there in 2010!!! I'll put in for vacation, and hopefully I'll get it. By this time next year, I'll be on a weekend plan (work Friday and Saturday nights, 24 hours total, get paid for 40 hours!), so when I take my two nights vacation, I'll be off for two weeks.

I can't believe how accomodating the hotel is being about the dogs. Oh my, I can't imagine all those Yorkies in one place. That should be on the news!
