CKC in this case means the Continental kennel club that will sign up mixed breeds. Not the Canadian Kennel club that only takes pure breeds.
You are right it not worth a hill of beans.

I'd be upset if I thought I had paid good money for a pure breed dog to be told that I have a mixed breed.

Do not get me wrong she is a cutie as all get out and enjoy her and love her.

Did you get her from a breeder who advertised her as a long haired chi? How old is she? You should let the seller know what both vets told you.

Hubby got her from a lady who had got her from the original breeder. The lady who we bought her from was going to introduce her and her brother in to her short hair chi line and decided not to for some reason. If I had known the details before hubby fell in love and put down the deposit, I would have said no. Her brother looks like what I think a LH chi looks more like.
She was I think 3 months old when we got her and is now 6 months old. We have the name of the original breeders and the name of the lady we bought her from, no other info. Hubby accidently threw away the ckc register papers.

BTW I found this pic online that is listed as a long hair choc chi. Reminds me of her though this is an adult.

I have LH chihuahua's . she looks like a long hair to me.
Some of them have beautiful full coats. There can be LH and SH in the same litter.

Well? I dk if this will be of any help but I do know that I have a chi....and she has the features of him. She does not have the features of my yorkie (which is Bailey). I do know that some long hair chis around here have been said to look like poms. I mean I can't tell you what you certainly have but I can tell you she is beautiful by all means .

Your baby looks more like a chorkie, her ears are pointed and her snout is more pointed than the longhair chi. I think she's cuter than the LH chi!!

It's hard to tell without better pics. She looks like either a poorly bred long haired Chi or a Chorkie. I don't see any Pom in her like others are saying. She is ADORABLE though!
