| Rex vs. a CRAB!?! part 2 The crab that we all thought had lefty had unfortunatly returned. i brought Rex in from the yard and noticed....BLOOD on his paws.unfortunatly, i was home alone. i took rex to the bathroom and rinsed his paws off. i saw kind of like small circular (not deep)cuts. kinda looked like scars. i caled my mom and she was 1/2 hr away but she was going to start for home in about 5-10 min (long line) so i called the vet and she said to put a small amount of Neosporin on each of the small cuts. (4 in total, 2 in each paw) they were not side by side. it was 1 on top of another on both paws (obviously the crab) so i waited for my mom to get back and when she did we took him back to the bathroom and did the neosporin and we also put a TINY bit of all natural aloe cream. he screamed but then he kind of moaned. now he is sleeping on me while i am making sure he doesnt lick the creams. BTW it stopped bleeding after i wahed it in the beginning. any other tips besides taking him to the vet?? the only vet my mom trusts is away |

| Are you talking about those "things" that make mud mounds in the lawn?

| Since the vet said to put neosporine on the cuts I was thinking you can wrap her little paws so she wouldnt lick it off. You still need to watch her so she wont try to take the wrap off. I also was wondering what kind of crabs your talking about? |

Oh, you may want to put a little Hydrogine peroxide on it first to wash out the cut so there isn't an infection. Just get ready to blow on the boo-boo! Good luck. I'm sure he will be better.

| DO NOT PUT PEROXIDE ON THE CUTS. Peroxide kills the cells and delays healing. Neosporin will take care of any infection. |
