| Some people are so rude. I just feel bad now. :[ I was telling some girls at school about my Ringo, and none of them really listen to the Beatles. I mean, I'm a 19 year old beauty student, and it's shocking when I tell people I do. Anyway, I named my doggie after Ringo Starr because John, George, and Paul didn't make sense. I thought it was cute, but one of the girls said it sounds bad. Like a clown, and it really hurt my feelings. Now that I really think, it makes me not like my poor dog's name, and I can't just change it, he's had it for his whole life :[ I don't know, my poor dog is walking around with a stupid name now. Aah, people get to me. I need to just let it go, it suits him. Right?

| I think Ringo is a cute name. You gotta ignore people like that. You can either take the high road and ignore.... or stoop to her level and say... My baby may have a clown name but at least he doesnt have your clown face

I think you should name your dog or your kids or your car for that matter anything you want!! Who are these girls anyway? What kind of music do they listen to? Ask them how they would feel if you insulted one of their family members. I named my last dog prior to my current Yorkies after a Tom Petty song. My dog was a 5 lb Maltese (I thought he was small, my Dezi is 2 3/4 lbs.) His name was Spike, which was also the name of the song. I hope you find the appreciation for his name that you had when you first picked it, you obviously liked it or you wouldn't have chosen it for him. Forget about other people!

| Aww, wow thanks everyone. I've seen some really cute names on here too. And, I've seen some dog names that I thought were REALLY stupid, but I didn't tell the dog's owner. They listen to crap music, trust me, I hear it on the radio every day. They play songs with the F word in front of clients, and one of my regulars is 88 years old! She comes in for a wash and set every week, so I know she doesn't cuss. But she loves the Beatles! My second choice was Tokey, I met a Jamaican guy that suggested it, but my mom said it wold make him look like a little stoner.

I Love My Babies Donating Member | You picked that name because it reminded you of someone you liked. Ringo Starr. Don't let a small minded, mean, clueless person make you question your choice. Your baby is adorable and I love that name. It suits him. Hold your head up and be proud of yourself and your baby Hugs to you sweetie.

| I think that's a great name. That is mean to say something like that to you. I think it's one of the best names I've heard for a dog and it definitely does not sound like a clown. Don't let it upset you, some people are just idiots. |

| I think the name Ringo is great....it's cute and even better - it means something to u because its associated with a band u love. Don't even waste your energy on idiots who can't keep their opinions to themselves - just let it be ....she's probably just jealous that she doesn't have a super-cute yorkie like Ringo! Also, you have FANTASTIC taste in music........the Beatles rule! xxx*

| I think Ringo is a cute name. I almost named one of mine Conway, after Conway Twitty. Im a big Conway fan! Nothing wrong with naming a pet after someone that you like a lot.

| Hey, girl, do what suits you and ignore stupid people. Ringo is a rockin' name and it's their problem if they don't appreciate it. The shop owner lets them play songs with the "F" word in them in the shop? How many customers have they lost because of that? If I went into a beauty shop that played songs like that, I'd never go back and I'd tell them why! |
