| Rid 8 wk old baby of fleas..how A friend of mine just brought home an 8 week old female Yorkie! She's so excited. Her male, Brady is now 8 months old, and she started getting the puppy fever! This precious little one has fleas on her. Anyone know what she can bathe her in to kill the fleas? She's too little for a Capstar. Does Dawn dish detergent work?

Donating YT Addict | yes dawn dishwashing liquid does work and it's not harmful to puppies. I was also told that Joy dishwashing liquid was better, but i've used both and found that they both work good. But she'll have to bath them now and then in 5 days because if any eggs are on the dog they will hatch. Hope this helps you out A vet told us that a long time ago because he said that you either leave the fleas and it could kill the puppy or make it ill. this is the safest way to get rid of them.

| itchy icky When Daisy was a pup, we'd just lay her on our Boxer who had been treated with Advantage, and after a few minutes her fleas would start to drop off or die too. Of course we wouldn't lay her on him right after a treatment, but the next day. |
