| Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm... a Yorkie-holic. I know many of you suffer from this same disease and that I won't be judged here. I know you all will support me as I have fallen off the wagon...again. You see, I thought one Yorkie would be plenty. Annie was the perfect little girl. So sweet, so demur, so a Momma's Princess. Then we found Boo and just knew that he was meant to be with us. So he joined our family and I thought, yes, this is the perfect number of Yorkies to have. Then Annie was suddenly called home and we were back to one. Well that's just not a good number. As we all know One Is The Loneliest Number. We were so blessed when Gracie Ruth quickly joined our family and I thought, one puppy, I can do just one puppy. What harm can one puppy do? We really need two Yorkies and now we have two again. I thought I had my addiction under control. I thought I could stop at one puppy. But you see, this evil, evil disease - once it has ahold of you, once it gets ahold of your heart, deceives you into thinking you are in control, but you aren't, oh no, not by a long shot. And the worst part is...I've drugged my DH down with me. We went to see a friends puppies a few weeks ago. They are actually Gracie's Mom & Dad's 2nd litter, so I guess that would make them siblings, right. Well we were just innocently sitting there enjoying watching them all run around and play when those words were spoken. The words all Yorkie-holics dread..."Y'all are such good Yorkie parents. I see how happy and well taken care of Boo and Gracie are. I would love it if you would take one of the new puppies." AAHHHH!!!! NOOOOO!!!! Don't say it DH!! Don't say it!! Too late, it was like being in a car crash. Everything was going in slow motion and before I could stop it my DH said those fateful words, "Really, wow, yeah, that'd be great, but it would have to be one of the boys." And with that one simple run-on sentence we fell off the wagon. So please welcome our new boy, Yogi. Please don't hold a grudge against him, it's really not his fault he has weak parents who can't say no to sweet puppy breath and oh so soft puppy fur and adorable little puppy waddles and tender little puppy paws and the cutest little puppy tail you ever did see! He will be joining our family in November. And we will be in puppy breath heaven. I thank you now, for your support, and pray for us...that we can stop this addiction at 3. Because another friend will be having puppies the first of next year and heaven help us we will have to go see them. We must, MUST, be strong and resist the demons that will be screaming in our ears and hearts that just one more puppy won't hurt anything. One more will be no more work and a lot more puppy love.

| Thank you, everyone, for your support. I'll be sure to tell them at my weekly YA meeting (Yorkie-holic Anonymous) that I am not the only one who thinks he's got a very cute face. They don't seem so interested in those details and just keep harping on learning to just say No.

| He's adorable. Congrats! The bad thing about Yorkieholism is there is no 12 step so you just have to continue to feel the disease.

| Yeah, I don't mind it so much either. I just don't want to be that "crazy dog lady" that lives in the house on the corner with 45 Yorkies and who's husband hasn't been seen in 2 months.
