| Bad Hair Day I know all probable can't help, but a little sympathy would mean a lot to me. I let my husband take Jasmine to the vet for a check-up while there he told them she was looking a little scraggly. The told them they their groomer had an opening. He called to check with me, I said give here a hygiene trim, clip her nails, trim her face, and that's it. Well he, being the good daddy that he is told them her legs looked a little scraggly too. Well to make a long story short, when we picked her up, they were carrying her (now I know why) she looked adorable in the groomers arms. Cute little bow, face trimmed very nice. It was kinda rainy so I had her blankie with me, and just took her and wrapped her up and left. Well lo and behold when I got her home and unwrapper her, I just about died. Her hygiene clip had turned into a total butt shave. Her legs had been scalped. and they trimmed her from the waist back. She looks totally wierd. I looks like she is fat in the front and very skinny in the back. What can I do other than keep clothes on her. I'm so sad. |

| That's awful, if they scalped her legs you can't even modify it into a schnauzer clip. I would probably try to trim her into a modified puppy cut to take away from the severity of the front to back differences. I guess it's a good thing it grows back! Have some tea to go with the sympathy. |

| Thanks so much. Do you have any idea how long it takes for their hair to grow back? She is 18 weeks old, such a baby to have to go thru this. I hope it grows back before winter, it gets prety cold her in MO. |

| There is nothing you can do other than put clothes on her. Maybe she'd like to spend what is left of the summer in long pants? All kidding aside, I've been there before and it seems I keep revisiting "there" on occasion! The only thing I can tell you is that it really does grow fast.
