| Murphy's in the terrible twos but... he's only 9 months old!!!! A few weeks back he figured out how to climb/hop the baby gate to get out of the kitchen. He's eaten about 4 hardback books, torn up all the stuff off my coffee table. I've sprayed as much as I can with the bitter apple but he's just destroying everything. I'm afraid to get a Christmas tree this year!! I'm worried about putting him a crate because I live in apartments and I think he'll bark all day. Help... Calgon.... take me away!!!

| Has he always been a chewer? Does he chew when you are home? It could be as simple as a bit more exercise, or maybe putting in some new toys during the day. Also, replacing the baby gate with something higher would be useful. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm thinking of blocking the gate with the kitchen chairs.

| Are not the teenage years wonderful even in dogs. Can you get a taller gate.... I say as mine can scale just about everything. Or do a double gate one at the top as well as the one below?? JL
