| I think when they do all that running and etc... they think they're drying off and it just feels GOOD to roll around afterwards. Every terrier I've owned did that after a bath. |

He is SOOOOOOO funny!! I think they all do that too, like someone else mentioned... Aren't they just the best cutest little things in the world!!??

| Mandy does this too.... it makes the whole bath so worth it. It is like someone has given her some kind of drug... Just makes you giggle. I love it! I just wish there was some way to bottle some of that energy! If only my body could move that fast, I could get so much more done!

| Padre does that too and it cracks us up every single time! I've read that they are trying to get their scent back on their fur afterwards but I don't know if that's true...it's so cute though! |

| Haha! Jockey goes crazy after a bath too. He does the whole rolling around on his bed and blankets and barks a funny little bark at himself like he is very upset. Derby doesn't roll or rub himself on anything after a bath but it is like he has bionic hearing or something and he runs around barking his head off like he is alerting the entire neighborhood of a fire or something. Silly little guys....

| My guys do the same thing ! They are so funny to watch . I have to grab Ryder before I get the supplies out though as he will hide under the bed as he hates his bath .... and he hides after too ! All I have to do is walk in the small bathroom where the towels are kept and he is gone ...... Crazy guy ! |

| Bowie and Ava both do this, ava gets more into her bath rage, she jumps on beds, wipes her nose and barks, Bowie has only had 2 baths but he still goes crazy. That is after he gets his treat, then he barks at us and gets toys and brings them to us.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Quote:
Right after Joey's bath, I warm a towel in the microwave and wrap him in it, with his head covered. I think he would lay there for an hour, but I usually lift part of the towel, and start drying that area with the hair dryer, at some point after that, he goes nuts and rubs his body all over the towels on the counter. I continue to dry him while he's doing this, and at some point when I guess he's feeling fairly dry, he stops this behavior.
