| No more puppy sales on street corners!!!!(az) A law was just passed in Az that say you cant sell puppies on any streets or highways in AZ!!!!!!!!! This is extremely common in the bybr flooded AZ. Bybrs are out on the streets every week-end with their Yorkies, Chihuahuas, Pugs and every other breed available plus others with lots of reptiles for sale as well. They are even out on the streets selling in 110 degree temps! Good news for AZ!!

| Great news......but what do you mean out on the streets? Like sitting in Wal mart parking lots? Or sitting on the side of the road? People do anything, this is awful for those poor babies. I'm glad someone got into office that worked to improve living conditions, now maybe other states will jump on board. |

| Isn't it awful here(in TX)? People are out all the time selling pups like that. I guess it's similar to buying from a petstore, as you have no idea how the pup was raised or what it will end up as. I've heard quite a few stories about mixed breed pups being sold as purebred. My aunt bought a dog almost 15 years ago that supposed to be a Scottie and now looks more like a black and tan Benji. Fortunaltely she didn't pay a lot(get scammed) and Buddy is a great dog. One thing we can all do to stop it is complain to the stores they are sitting in front of. Walmart especially shouldn't allow this, they won't even let us take our babies into to shop. |

| This is so sad.........here they sell puppies in what they call a flea market. I have only been to one here, and that was enough. One little puppy didn't move the whole time I was looking at all of them. Then we walked away and my oldest said they had some under the table also. This should be against law also. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | YAY!! When I first moved here 3 yrs. ago, we were coming out of the grocery store and there were 3 people (non-English speaking - so I couldn't even ASK them about the DOGS) selling little Maltese out of a box, right outside the entrance. It was about 110 degrees outside.
