| Best doggie door??????????? Hi everyone. Well I have my slab poured for my 35x20 soon to be screened in porch for my babies (not for me ...isn't that sad! :-) Anyways it was going to cost 100$ extra just for them to install 2 doggie doors for me so we have decided to do it ourselves. Please let me know what brand some of you are using. I don't want to install something my babies won't use or some junk I will have to replace. They range in weight from 2-5lbs so it would need to be a small door I guess. Thanks so much!!!

| Hi, we love doggie doors. We have 3 right now. One in the kitchen door that leads to the breezeway and then one from there to the backyard (the chipmunks love that one). The other one is in our breakfast nook and goes out to the deck & back yard. DH built a "carport" over that one to keep the snowdrifts out of the house in the winter. They are all PetSafe brand from Petco. It does not take them very long to learn how to pass through the door.

| Thank you for the response I usually shop on petedge.com and saw some with that name brand. They did have two different kinds though. Do you use the aluminum frame or plastic? Of course the plastic is less expensive, but if it works just fine then it would be preferable :-)
