| Which pic? Help me decide. I am having a portrait done of my daughter's dog, Spike, for her birthday. I have narrowed it down to these three. I want it to match his personality which is very sweet and playful and a little mischievious. We call him the eternal puppy because he never seemed to grow up- he's really very much a silly little boy. Here are my choices: 1. The one from my avatar. I think it is so cute but my daughter prefers his hair kept shorter (cotton coat = grooming nightmare) and his hair is longer in this picture than it usually is. 2. Spike is on the right and would be the only one in the portrait. The background would be white. 3. So which one would you pick?

| Oh they are all so cute! If it's for your daughter and she prefers the short hair, then my vote would be for #2! You will have to post pictures once you have it!

| Spike is so cute!! It depends what kind of portrait you are doing, if you're doing a headshot, then #3 captures his cute face and mysterious eyes. If you're doing a full body, then #2. He's just so gorgeous in #2!!! |

| Wow, thanks for all of the fast responses! I like number 1 the best too but the other 2 look more like he really looks. Looks like number 2 is winning. I'm going to send in the picture this afternoon. Mtzisgodmother is doing the portrait. I am so excited to see how it turns out. I'll probably need one of Sugar too.

| I vote for Spike in pic #2 as well. Looks like you can tell that he's sitting still for the pic, but there's a little twinkle in his eye that tells you he's going to be into something as soon as you turn your back. |
