| Separation Anxiety and beyond My 8mos old puppy seems to have some Anxiety issues. My 5yr old seemed to have taught the puppy to bark when we leave the house. The puppy seems to have taken it to a whole new level. Now he barks non-stop (until the door is closed, then it stops), nothing works, cans w/ coins, trying to distract him, nothing. Now he's added nipping into the mix. He tries to nip at my legs when I'm leaving the house. The other day I tried to pick him up, and he bit at my arm pretty good. He didn't break skin, but it still hurts. Any ideas?

| What about finding a different way to go about it, you have tried the interceptors without it working maybe it time to look into treats and positive reinforcement. There is a training group with members in New York State and well as New York City. Truly Dog Friendly » Truly Dog-Friendly Trainers Have a look give one a call and see it you can get some hands on help or at least a voice with years of knowledge to guide you. JL
