| # of feedings per day? When can I switch my 4.5 month old to feeding two times per day? She is getting at least three feedings currently plus treats. She weighs 4.5lbs and is a good eater and drinker. I want to go to twice a day to help regulate her poop schedule, as she is messing on her pad in her xpen while I am at work and stepping in it, tearing up the pad, etc. I have read they shouldn't go to two feedings until 6 months, but have heard conflicting advice and wanted to bounce this off fellow yorkie owners. Thanks |

| I am pretty sure I started feeding Buddy 2x daily at six months old. Yes it will be easier to monitor with 2 feedings. Hang in there alittle longer because I really think you shouldn't rush it. They need the nurishment until then I would think. |
