| Hubby has never been crazy about my yorkie babies I almost didnt post this, but its really starting to bother me. Dan is just not crazy about Yorkies. He say's they aren't dogs, they are rats. I know he is teasing me, but its really starting to make me mad and hurt my feelings. He is by no means, mean to Bella or (Maddie when I had her) just not lovey with them. I know most everyone on here's hubby is crazy about there babies...mines not. Is anyone else in by boat? When I say something about it, He say's He's just joking with me. But I feel like if he was just joking them he'd be lovey with them. He says he just tolerates them. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |

| My hubby isn't crazy about me having little dogs, he loves them because he loves animals and always treats them with respect and care, but he'd never choose to have one (or two!). But then again I'd never choose to have Tortoises, of which he has two! lol Try not to take it to heart if you know he's just teasing. I know it can be hurtful, but just ignore it! Or, get even! | Hubby has always had big dogs in his life...so when i got a Yorkie..it was a definite life change for him. He use to make the rat comment...and a few other comments that i didnt like. Finally i said to him.."listen, you can be nice to Pasquale and i can be nice to you...OR you can be mean to Pasquale and i can make your life a living hell....you choose" ..Needless to say...he totally adores my boy now!

| My husband isn't very fond of any of my dogs. He doesn't mind them he's just not a pet person. He does allow Louis on the couch with him though and he already agreed to another Yorkie next year. So I guess he is a little more accepting of my pets then I thought. He may come around yet. lol |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My husband always calls them my wife's dog's, but he gets down on the floor everyday when he gets home and plays with them. He will carry Pixie around and kisses all of them, but would never admit his feelings. He actually gave me the money for Pixie and Dixie/Roxie.

| Hubby has never been crazy about my yorkie My husband argued with me for years about lap dogs and in fact was irritated when my children decided to get me Gucci (Morkie) this past Mother's Day. The night I brought Gucci home, he asked to see the "Rat". In fact, he still refers to him in the same way, but loves him as much as I do. He's so in love that I sometimes have to fight him to get my time with Gucci. Maybe your husband just needs time to adjust. |

| Aw Denise I can only imagine how heartbreaking that would be, I know I'd be so upset if my boyfriend was that way with Lilly. Maybe you can sit down and have a heart to heart talk and let him know how much it bothers you when he makes remarks like he does. I believe the key to a good relationship is being able to talk things over and let one another what bothers you. Tell him he doesn't have to be crazy about her like you are but it hurts you that he makes the comments he does and it hurts you how he can't be happy for you. Hopefully that will get you somewhere, men can be a pain .

| Alot of times they brag on them to other people & you wouldn't even think or know it unless someone tells you. When I went & picked out regan, that same weekend my husband (who teamropes) went to a roping in jackson, ms & me & my middle son stayed home but some of my friends went & when I talked to them- he had told them all at the roping like it was the biggest & bestest (& of course it was, just as much as when we were having babies) thing that I had picked her out- I would have had no clue had they not told me. Another time I rode out to our roping pen w/regan riding in her carseat in our new mule she had her tiara in & her pink dress looking like the princess she is & when someone came later I heard him in the background say- did you see that little regan awhile ago- yeah he loves her! Some men are just funny about certain things- showing emotion, pda (which my hubby abs hates). I bet he loves her he is just picking w/you!!!!

My husband isn't head over heals for my 2 yorkies. He does respect them as he is an animal lover but he just doesn't get into them like he does our other dogs. He is always petting, loving on our labs but he spends no time giving attention to my girls. He thinks they are girlie dogs and to hyper for him.

| Ya know, I would make it incredibly CLEAR that you do not appreciate the way he treats you aout your babies. Even my boyfriend knows not to cross the line when it comes to my babies. Now granted, my boyfriend also adores my dogs like they were his own (hek, he does live with us all!). But he also knows how far he can and cannot go with teasing me about them.
