Belly Bands? How in the world do you guys get your males to keep them on? I ordered a pair through ebay and just got them in the mail today. They have velcro on them to secure them. I put one on Bailey and within 10 min's it was off. He kept sitting down and scratching at it. He doesn't wear clothing too often (I'm worried about clothing breaking his hair off) but when he has in the past he's been fine. He's worn shirts all day before with no problems. I thought maybe I put it on too tight or something, so I put it back on him, a little looser this time, still didn't stay on too long. So what's the secret?

Is it possible that the design of the bands might be uncomfortable? I make belly bands for all of my males and never a problem, unless they are playing and the girls pull them around. There is nothing that goes between the legs so it is not so confining. If you would like to talk with me about the ways to make them use Whispersmom2003@ Yahoo.com

Do you have a pic of the belly bands? I'd love to see what the ones you got from Ebay look like to compare to what Max wears.

Awww, Bailey's a diaper boy I can't believe Bailey can get it off! What does the belly band look like? I would just keep trying, maybe he will give up if you keep putting it back on. My mom started her little male when he was about 5 months old. And now he actually loves to have it put on. I have had him at my house this week and as soon as I let him in from outside he will run over to me and stretch out for me to put it on him. Cracks me up! But thank god he likes it because he has been a very naughty little boy, I see him lifting his leg all over my house and I'd be bootin his butt if not for the belly band. So keep trying and maybe he'll come around, It's a life saver!

I'm not sure if they're uncomfortable or not They don't go between his legs, they just wrap around. | |

Summer, that belly band looks a little thick, is it? Maybe thats why it bothers him? Max's are pretty thin, probably about the tickness of a pantyliner?

How wide are they? I make mine about 4 inches wide for Tucker and he's about the size of your Bailey. Maybe if it is too wide it is uncomfortable??
