| Baby teeth i was just a little curious when youre yorkies lost their baby teeth. Toby is 11 months and he lost ALL of his baby teeth around six months EXCEPT for two canines on the top.... well i ALMOST made an appointment to get them removed but didnt, and guess what?! THEY ARE GONE...... FINALLY, no more baby teeth. Did anyone else have to wait 11 months to get ALL the baby teeth gone? or did you guys just have them removed during spay/neuter? |

| I haven't been through all of that with Kacee yet. However, Muffin had 3 baby teeth removed when she was spayed.

| Buddha was scheduled to have his baby teeth removed when he was neutered last month but he had so many that the doctor referred us to a specialist, but now they are all loose so we are hoping they fall out to save us $500!! He will be one on October 1st. Hefner lost all his at 7 months. Chai is 8 months and has retained a few. She has not been spayed yet. |

| Chachi just ended up having 4 removed. My vet said the roots were in so deep they would have never have came out on their own.

| Thats so funny my little one Princess just lost her top canines she looks so funny. She lost almost all of her teeth so far just still a few on the bottom but she is drooling alot since her canines fell out is your little Toby drooling? I also she has not been her normal self maybe she is in a little pain you think? And she is chewing on everything so I gave her a baby teether that was frozen and she loved that.. She is only 5months but I am glad they are falling out on there own. Will save me some money. Also my little boy Koda just started teething also his ears have been straight up but now they are droopy so I know he has started as well he is 4months today. Nothing missing yet but it has only been about 4days so hopefully his will fall on there own too.

| Ornskey-double teeth vs. baby teeth Ornskey-They are talking about double teeth being removed. Some (many) Yorkies get double teeth which are removed. Usually the vet does this when the puppy (if) is spayed or neutered (because they are under). I think you are talking about baby teeth falling out. This usually starts happening around 5 months. Chloe just started loosing some of hers.

A lot of small dogs seem to have trouble losing all their baby teeth--that's why you hear so much about it. | |
