| Welcome Mary Jane!!! Housebreaking tips, head on over to the training side of this site and I'm sure you'll find a wealth of information, otherwise, tell us a little bit about her schedule and what you're already doing to get the housebreaking issue done. Again, WELCOME! |

| Thank you Thank you all for the welcome---My Mary Jane is a sweet, affectionate baby girl. Since I am working part time and also have a 4yr old daughter, I have tried using puppy pads and taking her outside just after feeding. She goes outside but sometimes she is more interested in playing than pee-peeing and I have to get to work. So, she goes outside and inside---sometimes on the pad and then everywhere else too. I try to catch her in the act and move her to a pad, but she likes to go in private. So, I have restricted her to family room, kitchen and laundry room(no carpeting) to make cleanup easier. I know it will take a while to get her trained, but I just can't get myself trained to be consistent with her---there is nothing consistent about me since I have a 4yr old! |

| Welcome love. Housetraining means persistance. My Suzi is 4.1/2 months and is just getting the idea right of going on the pads. When she goes in the right place I give her a treat. Katie my older yorkie was about 9 months before it clicked. Good luck love. Hugs Shirl x x

| WELCOME TO YOU AND MARYJANE! It is always nice to meet and greet a fellow Georgian to YorkieTalk. The best housebreaking tips I can give are to be consitent, remember plenty of praise, and thoroughly clean "accidents" with an enzyme type cleaner so that no smells remain. |
