| He thought he would trick me! So we have had Wrigley since Monday and he has been doing great! (aside from having to go to the vet yesterday poor guy) Well we started working on potty training him right away rewarding him with treats after he goes. Just a few mins ago I took him out and he got in a "poop stance" and PRETENDED to poop! Now how do I know he wasn't really trying and couldn't go? He stood there in that stance for a few seconds looking at me the whole time almost like to say, do you see me? And then ran at me and jumped up on my leg (which is what he does when I praise him and when I bent down he tried to get into my hand where I usually keep the treat. He didn't even go at all the whole time we were out there the little booger! Has your yorkie every tricked you to get a treat/reward or something of the sort? |

| LOL!!! Oh yes, mine pulled that stunt 'a lot' when going through potty training. I got such a kick out of it that they got a treat just for being so smart and cute

| haha well now he got himself in trouble (I use that word lightly, I don't actually mean he was in trouble) because I now know that he does in fact understand the concept of why we are going outside and why I am giving him the treat Now he can't play dumb haha |

| I never used treats as a reward, just a very happy "good girl", "good potty" and they would be so happy. Then they started the "dry-run" so to speak just to get make mom happy I think. hehe!!
