| Hello! I figured it's about time to jump in and say hello and introduce myself - I've been reading for quite a while now and learning a lot. My name is Kim - I live in MO with my partner Cheryl. We lost our little Yorkie male Riley the end of April and have really missed him - he was the sweetest little guy and he never ever met a stranger. We got him from Animal Control - he'd been picked up running the streets and was never claimed. He came home with us and worked his way into our hearts in no time. A year after we got Riley we adopted another little dog - Ripley - from the same animal control. She looks like she has a lot of Pom in her, but I'm not sure what else. She had belonged to some elderly people, and something happened with them and the family didn't want Ripley, so they took her to Animal Control. She "tries" to be sweet, but fails on a pretty regular basis There are many days when I think she could benifit from a good dose of Prozac! But, we love her, and we know that she's probably not going to be with us much longer - she is at least 14yrs old and starting to have a few health problems. And I think she misses Riley! Sooooooo! Knowing we wanted another Yorkie I've been researching and reading everything I can find on them, and that's how I found Yorkie Talk! What a wealth of information you have, and what a great group of kind and caring people you have here! : Even though we had Riley for so many years - we didn't really "think" of him as a Yorkie - he was just our baby - and we wanted another one. All of my searching led me to Amazing Yorkies, and now we have not one but two new babies coming! We are getting a year old female - Isabelle (Izzy) and a 6 month old male - Maximillion (Max). They will be pampered pets - neutered & spayed - and spoiled rotten! We are going on vacation next week to see my Dad & brother & a couple of grandkids in Colorado, and thought that a major trip like that might be too much right off the bat for them, so we are going to pick them up on our way home on Sept 15th. How telling is it that we are both ready to rush through vacation so we can come home????? It's been quite a while since I was a member of a forum, so I'm going to have to brush up on my picture posting skills, etc. but once we get the babies home, I'll have to see if I can get some pictures posted. I'm going to quit now before this gets any longer.

| Hi and welcome to YT. So sorry about your Riley. I know that your new babies will never replace him but I am sure that they will have a very special place in your heart as he did. Can't wait to see pics.
