| funny looking ears lexi will be 5 months the end of august...at 3 months both her ears went up for about 2 weeks.. now for about a month..one ear is up and one is down. whats going on? she look so funny....i know the one ear is capable to go up. will it ever go up again? i wouldnt mind if they both were down... it drives me just nuts.... next week she gets her last shot so i will talk to the vet about taping it up... is there a chance the one ear will go up for good on its own ? |

| This sometimes happens when they are teething. It never happened to me, but if there is a lot of hair on the ears you could try to shave them to take that weight off. I would not think you would have to tape them since they have already been up, but maybe someone more knowlegeable than me will recommend this. Sue |

| Baileys did that,, one up, one down, then it would switch... I did shave em and trim the edges, and massages his ears all the time when he slept in my lap,,, but, like you,,I thought if they are up once they will go up again. And they have been standing TALL ever since.. FYI... My favorite pic, of him is when he was little with one ear up and one ear down,,,, Its so cute..

| I love the one up one down look. It's soooo cute. I am sure the second will go up soon though. Take lots of pics not to save the look! |

| My male's ears did the up and down thing for several weeks after we got him, then one day they were up and never went down again. That is unless he gets into trouble. Then he is the most pitiful looking yorkie around with both ears flat on his head.

| Is she teething? Teething will sometimes make the ears droop!

| Olivia and I in the same boat you are. Here ears were up until she was nearly 5 months, and now one has been half-down for about 3 weeks. She's at the teething age, but nothing seems loose or to be coming out. |
