scammed by a FL breedes

omg this is horrible i kinda feel the same way but i did get a yorkie but she has an overbite and can't be breed.I paid 700.00 dollars for this dog and have yet to get papers for her.I was told she was ckc but,know way to show this and now i learn ckc isn't a very good breed she should have been akc???This makes me so sad .LaPorte,Indiana

They are still in business, they are in Aventura, I don't recall their new name, but came out on the news, because their store was broken into and puppies were stolen.

All I have to say is that I'm offended by that comment.

Anyways, I'm so sorry that this happened to you, I'm sure there's probably things like this that go on in Canada but I've yet to hear about it. I hope she gets put away for life and soon, those poor puppies.

who told you CKC is not a good breed...for one thing it is not a breed but a Club just as AKC is a Club....mine are both CKC and are great examples of thier breed....dont worry about them being CKC

Maybe you meant CKC as in conteninal kennel club? and not the Canadian kennel club?? they are 2 different clubs. Canadian one is good --the other not so good, they will let you register a dog as pure breed just with photos. not a good idea in my opinion. I stated breeding with CKC ( conteninal, not candian) before I found out the truth about them, now I breed only AKC.

again...false information...sorry but you guys are not portraying CKC in the light it shoudl be....as i stated before both my dogs are CKC registered and they had to be proven.....my breeder went through alot to get them registered because their parents were registered with different Clubs....please oh please state facts when you post

Hey Cindy, hate to break it to you girl, but I contacted CKC about Bentley and his future off spring ( in case the IBC didn't go through) and all you have to do is send in a picture of your dog after it has reached 6 months of age and you can register it..The same thing with Mahli that I rescued with no papers, her new owners can mail in a pic of her along with a letter from someone as a witness that says that they believe that the dog is the breed they are claiming it to be and then CKC will register it for them.. That is why there are CKC maltipoos and cockapoos and morkies and shihtzupoos and all other cross breeds that are CKC registered, it is because they are not as strict and will register almost anything... That does not mean that all purebred dogs that are CKC registered are bad examples of the breed. Tammy for instance does not like AKC because of the high fees and they are really rude so she chooses CKC but that does not mean that their dogs are not good quality.. I do think though that some bad breeders use CKC because it is easy to scam people with that registry and sell them a dog that may not be from purebred parents.. Smokey is a beautiful well bred Yorkie and we know it...

I've said i'm sorry .I can't change what i said i just wish the breeder had been honest with me that's all i wanted.I'm sure allys puppys will be beautiful.Don't get me wrong i love her regardless she part of me now.She's on my site if you'd like 2 see her.She's spoiled rotten and will be forever ! Just didn't intend on offending anyone.She's special to me that's what counts.

So sorry to hear that you were treated that way. Don't be embarrased I certainly wasn't born with knowledge about buying a yorkie. I know pople say research. I checked the internet but since there is not a database to see all businesses we can get scammed. Nobody better say, the BBB, because I filed a complaint and nothing has been done. I checked with then before purchasing and there was no record of them.

All I know is that these scam artists who pose as breeders get away with these types of things all the time. I've seen the lady that scammed you on our local news channel. Then I read that she gets these puppies for soemthing ridiculous like $10 from Argentina (I might have the country wrong..don't shoot) and sells them for $1 to $2,000.

I've also seen one that is in Pembroke Pines Fl Wizard of Claws. They have also had many lawsuits against and even the goverment investigating them and they are still open and selling.

I myself was also scammed by Seaside Yorkies. I could take them to court which I may do but I will throw away thousands and all they will get is a judgement.

Crooks know how to scam. Unless it's the goverment they just change the name and owner's name and continue.
