| Up last night thinking........ So i was up last night at 3am...thanks to my darling Pasquale who didnt have to end up peeing...but apparently just needed his mommy. So after trying numerous attempts at allowing him to pee....i put him back in his crate and put the crate on top of the bed with my fingers thru it so he could settle down and go back to sleep. Well he finally did settle down and go back to sleep. But while i was lying there...i was thinking to myself....how many YT'ers were also up trying the numerous attempts at letting our little ones go "potty". I just pictured us all in our pajamies with bags under our eyes....talking to ourselves saying "he's my baby..i really do love him" in hopes we dont go insane from lack of sleep. So I just wanted to let you all know that while i'm up at night with my boy...I'm thinking of you all!!!!!

| Awww...that's sweet of you. Gus is trained, but I tend to wake up in the middle of the night to pee when I've had a couple beers, and I'd fee guilty if I didn't take Gus for a leak, too. So for us, it's the opposite - if I'm up, then he's up - but I'll think about you when we're up! |

| Oh, I do remember those days! I thought I'd never get a good night's sleep again. Strange thing is, now that the babies can sleep through the night, I'm the one that has to get up to pee - aaaggghhh!

| 5:30 Am. Every Day! All 3 of my Yorkie's are officially our Alarm Clocks, at least one of them will wake me up @ 5:30 am. every morning........Artie will get on top of me and dig his nails in my chest or neck and lick me until I awake, Abigail will whimper in your ear until I'm so irritated that I get up, and Pom Pom will do the same as Artie since he Trained her, except she will also lick the inside of your ears & nose if your not awake and paying attention (gross)? Our Alarm Clock is set for 6 am. on a "Work" or week day. The problem is they can't tell the difference between Days? Usually I will take them pee and we will try to go back to sleep? Most of the time I will just start my Day. They do sleep through the Night, they are just used to getting up early since it's so Hot during the Summer time. I usually go on YT. Thank God my Neighbors don't see me in my Robe! As for the bags under my eyes(yawning), I just got a new pair of Sunglasses. |

| Oh my, you described me and my husband perfectly... PJs and bags under eyes. Our little Humphrey is such a sweetie, we have never had pets before so training him has showed us how wise our baby is (and how inexperienced we are). We have a large cage for him and a small crate. We use the cage as his potty and the crate as his bed, and he caught up with the idea right away. He whimpers a little at around 3am and so I get up, give him a hug, put him in the cage and then he will go pee... I get rid of the pee pad, change it and we go back to bed. Then same thing happens at 5. He does a #2 at 7 am sharp and he totally refuses to do that in the crate or anywhere inside the flat, so we take him out and he does his thing. However, it has been raining all morning so he hasn't been out. The poor baby held it until 9 and then did in the cage, he went ballistic, whined, jumped, barked at it, he was shaking and screaming like a banshee, then I noticed he'd gone poo. It was the funniest thing ever... |
