Senior Yorkie Talker | No wonder many people become ignorant of the Yorkshire Terrier being called "Teacup Yorkie Breed" when there's no such breed actually registered with AKC. I feel sad for the poor small dams who risk their lives whenever bred.

| I don't know if Puppymill......by her pictures they seem well taking care of. But I know pictures do not mean everything. I hate to label someone for breeding smaller dogs, when I know nothing about her, them or their reasons behind what they do. The Puppies that are for sale are beautiful. |

| Some YT members breed them at 3 lbs. I have a girl that is 2 3/4 lbs at 7 months and no way would I ever allow her to be bred and can't imagine someone breeding these very small size females She was kept back as a show hopeful and didn't grow. So she will be placed responsibly as a pet only! Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |

I agree you on this also. Wouldn't a C-section come into play on her females since they all weigh around that. What are the health issues for the babies also?

| That's so sad. All the adults look sickly or something.

I had a 2 lb Chihuahua named Minnie Mouse and people always asked us if we were going to breed her, my answer was why would i want to KILL HER? Then they understood that yes that is a very likely outcome! I just don't understand why someone would breed these little sized girls. There is always a risk when a dog is bred that something may not go right, but then to breed girls that are too small increasing the risks. Deana Prestigeous Yorkies

| Have you seen the breeders that now call them teaspoons? They need to stop the insanity! But as long as people rush in to buy from breeders that do this, they will always be putting their girls in harms way to produce that next puppy for sale! Scary Cycle and the poor little females are paying the price with their lives. Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |
