| Male vs Female as a second pet? Hello everyone, I am planning on getting a second yorkie sometime in the next few months. I want Bella to have a friend and would love to have another one around as they are so much fun. At first I was planning on getting a boy because I would like to have a pair and I have heard that two female usually don't get along. Has anyone had a problem with two females? Bella is going to be 2 in November and she is spayed so I do not need a male for breeding purposes just for a friend for her. What does everyone think? Would a male be a better companion in general for her or do you find it is just personal preference. Do male yorkies lift their legs a log to pee? Thanks everyone! |

| I think its just a personal preference. I have a male and female and like having one of each. Yes most males lift their legs when they pee. I would pick the pup you are most attracted to and not worry if its a male or a female. They are all different so I dont think there are defining characteristics
