| I have 2 stories to tell on Elvis: 1. He is pee pad trained. Yesterday while I was preparing our evening meal, Elvis did a quick disappearing act, which I figured he had to go potty and ran to his pad in our bathroom. Shortly, he reappeared in the kitchen, so I decided to check on his potty to make sure if I needed to "clean up". On my way to the bathroom, low and behold, there, in the foyer, was his number 2! I fussed at him and showed it to him and told him No! While I was still holding him I took him to the bathroom to show him where he is supposed to "go" and...oh my...wouldn't you know it...DH had left the bathroom door closed!!!! Poor little Elvis. I felt horrible about fussing at him because he did try! He was probably on his way back to me and then just "lost it". He's still a pup you know. So then I fussed at DH! 2. Today me and Elvis went for a morning walk. He pooped and I was busy looking at it to ensure I knew everywhere he had "dropped it" so I could do the "pickup thing", and when he finished he quickly walked forward but too late! He stepped right in an ant hill I had not noticed! I grabbed him and he had ants up to his first knuckle on his front legs...I brushed them off quickly and got bit myself! I felt just awful for the little guy! We went back home and ran water from the water hose over his paws. He seemed just fine thank goodness!!! And that concludes my two stories on Elvis.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Aw, Elvis - such drama over 2 short days! Those darn ants. They got my Marcel a couple months back and it is really upsetting - he was shaking and ran to Momma, all upset - I felt just terrible bc I didn't know we had fire ants in the back yard. Well...Momma took care of those fire ants!

| Poor Elvis! He did his best to make it to the bathroom. Have you thought of putting in a doggy door for him to go potty?

| Thank you Misti1. I think I'd probably feel the same if I lived in Memphis too. Also, I do think that Elvis enjoyed seeing daddy get into trouble over leaving the bathroom door closed, ha.
